I hope to be able to add something to this site . I was born in Pennsville 1n 1933 ( that was a LONG time ago ) We moved to Stockport in 1937 ,and to Canton in 1941 ,when Dad got a "War job " Was in the work force there for over 40 years .(with two years out for the Army ) Retired in 1992 from The Timken Co. with nearly 38 years service . I moved to Laurens S.C. in 1996 ,bought a home and tried to retire . Seems I`m busier now than when I worked . I love Morgan Co. and it will always be "down home " to me I`m also a life member of the Morgan Co. Historical Society . Bernie Porter
